The Sandy Garden Club is holding the monthly meeting in person.  This past September, we had a member of the Sandy Fire Department come give a presentation, “Things to do to protect our homes in case of a wildfire.”  In October, we met at the Gardens of enchantment to do the annual Fall cleanup of our two areas of responsibility.  Everyone took home a homework assignment to provide a list of plants, shrubs, trees, etc., that provide color and texture in the garden and landscape during the four seasons.  Also added to the list, “things to do to maintain the garden.”  During our November meeting, we reviewed the input and added more items.  December we will have our annual Holiday Potluck.  January meeting will be a member’s “Show and Tell” where everyone will bring their favorite gardening tool(s) to share.
