The Spring Board Meeting will be held via Zoom.  You will be sent sign-in information prior to that meeting.  All Officer and Committee Reports, Resolutions and/or Motions are to be submitted on or before Tuesday, February 15, 2021.  Submit them via email to  If you don’t have email capability please be sure your items are mailed in time to reach us by the due date.

The Executive Committee will convene (via Zoom) on Monday, January 18, 2021 to finalize the meeting agenda.  You will be sent further information following that meeting.

Art Show and Fundraiser

Wildfire Art Display and Fundraiser for wildfire relief agencies. Works presented by Emma Hartman and Norma Piper in relation to the horrendous 2020 wildfire event that forced many Clackamas County residents to flee their homes.

50% of total art sale proceeds will go to the Oregon State Federation Garden Clubs’ Promise Trees Project!

Donations for the Promise Trees Project will also be accepted with 100% of receipts directed into the Promise Tree fund.

Payments of cash or check only can be accepted.

Flower Show & Quilt Display

Free Flower Show & Quilt Display

The Dallas Garden Club, the Salem Area Garden Club and the Grow and Show Garden Club, also from Salem, comprise the Capitol District of the Oregon State Federation of Garden Clubs. Together, they will be hosting their free Annual Flower Show and Quilt Display on Saturday, September 18th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the gym at the Evangelical Bible Church, 1175 SE Howe Street in Dallas.

The Flower Show will be a judged event and will include floral designs, horticulture and vegetable and fruit displays to showcase “The Bounty of Oregon.” Quilts of various designs and eras will be exhibited around the gym and attendees will be asked to cast their vote for the “People’s Choice” award in both the Floral and Quilt categories.

All who attend will also be given an opportunity to enter a drawing for a free door prize. Incentives for the event entries and for the door prize have been donated by Frey’s Dahlias, Grandma’s Attic and the Old Mill Feed & Garden Store. Gretchen McKane (503.851.7320) is the event chair. This is guaranteed to be a “don’t miss it” event!
