SUMMARY:OSFGC Booth at Oregon State Fair
DESCRIPTION:We have a booth at the State fair this year. The Capitol District did this last year and asked me if the state would like to participate with them\, and I said YES.\n\nWhen: Sunday\, August 30\, 2026\nWhere: Floral Building\, Oregon State Fairgrounds\n\nWe will need information from any of the clubs and districts that would like to get their information out to potential members. This will be a group effort\, and volunteers to help at the booth are needed.\n\nHere are the proposed time slots for volunteer sign-ups. These times were used last year\, and it seemed to work well. The building opens at 10am\, but we can get in at 9am (or earlier) to set up.\n\n9:00 AM-11:00 AM (includes set up from 9-10)\n11:00 AM- 1:00 PM\n1:00 PM – 3:00 PM\n3:00 PM – 5:00 PM\n5:00 PM – 7:00 PM\n7:00 PM – 9:00 PM (includes tear down which starts at 8:30)\n\nPreviously\, the Capitol District board signed up last for any unfilled slots\, and we can ask them to do that again this year.\n\nAll volunteers get one complimentary admission and parking ticket.  We need to ask volunteers for their email so that we can send tickets electronically.  For those who do not use email\, will-call pickup is available.\n\nThe building is air-conditioned\, so it is a good idea to bring a jacket or wear layers.\n\nAgain\, please send your club information to Becky Cook at BeckyCookOSFGC@gmail.com for the handouts.\n\nThanks so much. See you at the Oregon State Fair.\n\nPresident Becky
